There is no self, we’re made up of machines. We didn’t make the machines and they program themselves. Between the machines there’s nothing and inside them there’s nothing as well. We hope to come to terms with nonexistence.

 

Studies in nonexistence is a current work in progress with philosopher of mind Jelena Markovic. We are making the piece across a great distance, using digital technology. We performed it at St Margaret's House as a multimedia performance, and hope to perform it together in real life and real time at some point in the future
